Bay area machining service by Radian is centrally located in Santa Clara, California, USA in a newly renovated 35,000 square foot facility. What makes us different from other bay area machining shops is that when your production needs increase we can help you “design for manufacture” and switch to higher volume manufacture technique such as precision casting which we provide from our high volume manufacturing facilities in Asia.

Bay area machining quality control
All bay area machining products supplied by Radian are RoHS-5 or RoHS-6 compliant, unless otherwise requested. RoHS is defined by EU Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. RoHS Certificate of Compliance is available upon request.
Design Services for bay area machining
Radian has a team of mechanical engineers based in Santa Clara that can advise on “Design for Manufacture” (DFM) or even take your ideas and create a SolidWorks CAD drawing. In addition, where required we can conduct computational modelling to advise on both mechanical stress.
Where heat may be an issue, thermal analysis and validation services using powerful Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and proprietary simulation packages are also available where we can can modify your design to allow heat dissipation.
Radian is ITAR certified, and has many Government/Military based customers. Radian has been assessed by NSF-ISR and found to be in conformance to ISO9001:2015.
